Mark Clark won Ambassador of the Year for the Morrisville Chamber for the 2nd year in a row
Our very own CEI team member, Mark Clark, has won Ambassador of the Year for The Morrisville Chamber of Commerce yet again! This is Mark’s 2nd year in a row of winning this impressive title.
In regards to this phenomenal achievement, Mark said, ““It is an honor to have received The Morrisville Chamber of Commerce’s Ambassador of the Year Award for the second year in a row at their Annual Meeting this February. Recognized for my dedication to the local business community, my innate ability to bring others together and my passion for community involvement, this accolade is a testimony for why I love what I do. I am looking forward to continuing to pursue my passions and involvement in area Chambers as we head into 2019.”
Mark hasn’t only been recognized for his community involvement in Morrisville alone. This award marks the 4th time winning for a local Chamber, as just last year, Mark won Ambassador of the Year for the Holly Springs, Apex, and Morrisville Chamber. This is no surprise considering his routine involvement within the community. Mark regularly enjoys volunteering at both Gigi’s Playhouse and the SPCA of Wake County, and is also actively involved in B2B networking events, ribbon cuttings, and open houses around the area. However, when he does have spare time (whenever that is!), he enjoys hanging out with his nephew, Carter, and working out at HEAT in Downtown Raleigh.
The 28th Annual Meeting event for the Morrisville Chamber of Commerce itself was a huge success. It took place at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel on February 5th, and the attendance rate had grown 100% since 2016. During the meeting, Morrisville’s 2018 accomplishments were celebrated and a sneak peak of the exciting things the Chamber has planned to come, especially in the sports and tourism arena, in 2019 was presented. Some of these upcoming initiatives include strengthening community partnerships with area nonprofits and introducing a sales and leadership centric Sharpen Your Skills Workshop Series with the help of We Raleigh.
Community involvement is extremely important to our team at CEI, so we are very proud of Mark and all of his achievements. We look forward to seeing all of the wonderful things he will accomplish in the future, as well as all of the volunteering opportunities within the community which CEI will have this year!
