Inside Sales and Events Coordinator – Sales Administration:

The Inside Sales and Events Coordinator is responsible for prospecting and generating new qualified sales leads, while also assisting as needed in the planning and executing of corporate/company events and other general administrative tasks. This role is perfect for an individual looking to get their creative juices started in the company events arena, while also gaining valuable inside sales experience. In this position you will support the Outside Sales team, Director of Business Development, as well as Marketing Manager as needed. The purpose of this position is to significantly grow sales and brand awareness for both CEI – The Digital Office and their managed services division, Strategic Systems (IT Solutions). The ideal candidate would be detail and action oriented with a strong innate ability to multi-task; superior oral and written communication skills also is a must. You will be responsible for attending outside networking functions, vendor tradeshows as needed, and company events so scheduling flexibility is important.  This position will require you to be able to manage your own schedule, while meeting specific sales targets as set by the Director of Business Development. Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales:

  • Developing new business prospects for both CEI – The Digital Office and Strategic Systems via telephone prospecting, networking events and trade shows
  • Assisting in email and marketing campaigns as needed
  • Following up on leads generated by account managers, as well as outside marketing leads
  • Updating and meticulously maintaining CRM (customer database)
  • Scheduling qualified meetings for account managers
  • Preparing and developing a call plan
  • Organizing and analyzing a sales pipeline

Events: 

  • Assist Marketing Manager in oversight of logistical details of events from pre-event to event follow up
  • Assist in creative meetings to develop and implement events
  • Participate in trade shows, networking events, and concert series
  • Assign roles and help lead onsite staff/volunteers

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree or 2+ years relevant experience
  • Self-discipline with time and organizational management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure and work well in a team environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
