Account Manager – Outside Sales:

The account manager position is an outside sales position that creatively uses multiple prospecting tools to develop and acquire new accounts with a defined geographic territory. Candidates must have a strong work ethic and the ability to self-manage. The account manager will be responsible for creating and presenting ideas and solutions to business professionals — so high energy and an excitement for selling (with a positive attitude) is a must.

 

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business using a variety of prospecting tools
  • Schedule appointments, prepare presentations, proposals, demonstrate equipment
  • Develop solutions that demonstrate value added benefits to customers
  • Identify and properly qualify potential prospects and customers
  • Listen and understand customer needs and requirements with high priority on customer satisfaction
  • Maintain knowledge of company and competitor’s equipment

 

Qualifications:

  • College degree preferred but relevant outside sales experience will be considered
  • Self-discipline with time and organization management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Independent self-starter attitude with a strong work ethic
  • A strong desire to win
