During this month’s Service Day, our employees at Strategic Systems – A Division of CEI food hunger in North Carolina by providing individuals in low income areas with fresh, locally grown produce.
WatchGuard Technologies, a cutting-edge cyber security technology company, hosted Strategic Systems – A Division of CEI and other North American Partners at its annual Partner Conference earlier this month in Miami, FL. The purpose of the conference was to empower managed IT Security service providers like Strategic Systems – A Division of CEI by sharing the latest cybersecurity strategies and best practices for cyber protection.
Strategic Systems – A Division of CEI is fortunate to have employees that are committed to giving back to our community. Our Volunteer Program enables employees to do just that. In addition to our company-wide Service Day, which took place in April, our employees volunteered at the 2018 Wake County SPCA K9-3K Dog Walk and Woofstock on May 6, 2018. More than 2,000 people and nearly 800 dogs came together at the 2018 Dog Walk and Woofstock to give homeless pets have a voice.
National Volunteer Week did not get away without our dedicated team at Strategic Systems – A Division of CEI showing a little volunteer ‘love’ by cleaning the SPCA of Wake County’s Food Pantry on April 6th. We believe serving animals, makes us better humans!
Spring-cleaning duty meant we took out food, cleaned spaces, sorted expired goods, then re-organized the food pantry to implement the shelter’s new system for sorting the diet-specific cat and dog food.
Mark Clark, an esteemed member of the CEI team, has been selected as Ambassador of the Year by three Triangle Chambers of Commerce: Apex, Holly Springs, and Morrisville.
Chamber Ambassadors promote and act as a representative for local businesses, expanding their relevance within the state and the nation. Boards and Chambers select the Ambassador of the Year based on event attendance, volunteer efforts, and member engagement activities. The leadership team at Strategic Systems – A Division of CEI, a division of CEI, encourages employees to give back to the community through its popular volunteer programs. The program allows team members to dedicate service days to local non-profits and provide paid quarterly service day opportunities for everyone on staff. Over the years, we worked with organizations such as Gigi’s Playhouse, Pretty in Pink Foundation, CASA, Interfaith Food Shuttle, Center for Volunteer Caregiving, MeFine Foundation, and Central Foodbank of North Carolina.
The CEI team was both thrilled and humbled to receive The 2017 Jeremiah Morris Community Steward Award, The award was presented to us on January 30th at The Morrisville Chamber of Commerce Awards Ceremony. We are proud to be recognized for our volunteer efforts in the community.
